CHARACTERISTICS OF A REAL MAN, BY OLUMIDE EMMANUEL
1. HE IS A GOD-LOVER
You are not a real man if
you don’t love your Creator and have a solid and intimate relationship with
Him.
2.
HE IS A MAN
OF VISION
A life without a vision ends up in confusion, and if you don’t
have a clear vision for your life, you are not a real man yet.
3.
HE IS NOT A
MALE-CHAUVINIST
No man is superior to a woman. We are only different from
women,so to think and behave as if you are superior to a women excludes you from
being a real man.
4.
HE IS NOT AN
ABUSER
Any man who abuses a woman sexually, physically or otherwise
in my opinion, is an animal and does not qualify to be called a real man
because he still has a long way to go.
5.
HE IS A
RESPONSIBLE HUSBAND AND FATHER
Some males look like real men until they marry and have kids
and then you realize they are irresponsible and are not real men. The ability
to impregnate a woman is not what makes you a man. Bearing children is one
thing; rearing them is another.
6.
HE IS RELEVANT
A real man is not outdated or obsolete but updated and
relevant in his thinking, acting, way of life, appearance, etc. You need to
step up to stay up and be a real man.
7.
HE IS A MAN
OF WISDOM AND EXCELLENCE
Wisdom is a major mark of a real man and real men are expected
to be excellent, doing the right thing in the right way and the right time. If
any male lacks wisdom and excellence, his manhood is questionable.
8.
HE IS AN
INVESTOR
Proper financial management is a mark of true manhood. A real
man knows how to make, manage, and multiply money so he can take care of his
responsibilities and secure the future of his family.
9.
HE IS A
NET-WORKER
We achieve more together than the sum total of our individual
achievements, and we need each other because no one is an island. A real man
knows that, so he networks with others to stay strong.
10.
HE IS A
YIELDED VESSEL
A real man is a man who is totally yielded to God and His
will. When you allow God to have His way in your life at all times, you cannot
help but be a real man
